History of SyncLogic
SyncLogic was founded in 1996 as a service provider
to small businesses and ad agencies who needed help
with the transition from "paper and television" media,
into new media deliverables such as CD-ROMs and web
marketing materials. The initial talents of the
company, mainly traditional video and audio production,
provided a natural segue into these new communications
technologies.
As the tools to produce video and audio
evolved from costly hardware devices to less expensive
computer based solutions, SyncLogic was poised to move
ahead, as a more relevant choice for those who needed
these services.
In
the mid 90's, interactive media and the internet were in their
infancy, but as the years progressed, so too did
the needs of small business to advertise with these
new technologies. SyncLogic rose to the challenge of
embracing the leading edge technologies of the day,
while still drawing
from the experiences of the way production was traditionally
done. We believe that there is no substitute
for experience in the fast changing world of communications
technology.
Web hosting became part of SyncLogic services out
of necessity. As the internet quickly developed from the simple "online
brochure" web sites and
text-only emails into massive database-driven ecommerce
solutions, mass email marketing, and high-bandwidth
multimedia and audio-visual deliverables such as Flash
and Shockwave. SyncLogic re-invented itself right along
with these changes. With the addition of dynamic web
development and hosting, PHP and MySQL development,
high quality video compression technologies, and Flash
development, SyncLogic founds it true place in the market.
To facilitate the development and security of custom
internet database solutions and integrated software
to administer these systems,SyncLogic found it easier
to bring ISP and hosting services in-house. As time
passed, SyncLogic has grown into a full service ISP,
providing domain name hosting, email and web hosting,
custom statistical reporting functions, database solutions,
dynamic email list services, and more, all with fully-redundant,
multi-server fail-safes, UPS power backup, and 24 our
monitoring.
As for hosting services, we do not re-sell the faceless $8.95/mo bulk ISP services
as so many of our competitors do, but offer secure
and internally managed full service hosting and ISP
services at a level that any business that depends
on their internet services should expect.
